Lisa attended the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine where she graduated in 2006 with a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is National Board Certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique. She is licensed as an acupuncturist by the State of Colorado. Her specific training includes 3 years of western and oriental medical sciences, consisting of 2850 hours of education, with over 1000 hours of clinical internship utilizing acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine. Lisa also received training in the recommendation and application of adjunctive therapies including moxibustion, tui na, cupping, and dietary and lifestyle recommendation as defined by traditional oriental medical concepts.
